Neurodiversity Therapy

I have extensive experience working with Autism and ADHD . I am a compassionate counsellor with a deep commitment to providing neuro diverse-informed therapy. I offer a calm, structured, and respectful space where individuals can feel seen, heard, and understood—without pressure to mask or conform. I understand what it can take just to get though a day, as well the feelings associated with dysregulation and the impact after these occur.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationships, identity, or simply seeking a safe space to explore your thoughts and experiences, I will work with you at your pace, in ways that suit your unique communication style and sensory needs.
How I Support Autistic Clients
-
Neurodiversity-affirming:
I don’t see autism or ADHD as something to "fix." Infact it can be a super powerI work from a strengths-based perspective, honouring each client’s way of thinking, feeling, and relating to the world.
-
Clear and direct communication:
I use literal, unambiguous language and take the time to explain therapeutic tools clearly.
-
Sensory-considerate environment:
My sessions are conducted in a low-stimulation setting (with adjustments available) or online, depending on your preference. I will also invite you to see the rooms before if you wish.
-
Flexible formats:
In addition to traditional talk therapy, we can use visuals, written tools, or structured methods depending on what works best for you. I offer art as a format to express emotions, so there is less pressure to find a narrative.
-
Pacing and predictability:
Sessions are structured and consistent, with clear expectations and options to prepare in advance.

-
Support with co-occurring challenges:
I have experience supporting neurodiversity clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and trauma.
